What We Believe:

We are members of the church of Jesus the Christ (established at the Cross of Calvary

over 2000 years ago), called to respond in faith to the call of the Holy Spirit through

the Gospel message of Jesus the Christ, desiring to unite together to preach the Word,
administer the sacraments (Baptize and Holy Communion), and carry out God's mission!

God's Mission is twofold, based on the Great Commandment and the Great Commission

which Jesus the Christ gave to us while he walked on earth.

Great Commandment:  "The Lord your God is one; so love the
Lord with all your passion and prayer and intelligence and energy.
And here is the second: 'Love others as well as youlove yourself.'"
(Mark 12:29-31 The Message Bible)

Great Commission:  Jesus said, "God authorized and commanded me (Jesus)
to commission you: Go out and train everyone you meet far and near,
in this way of life, marking them by baptism in the threfold name.
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit."
(Matthew 28: 18-19 The Message Bible)

Main Beliefs:
We profess that the God of Christianity is the Triune God, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus the Christ is Lord and Savior and that the Gospel message tells us of
the power of God and that eternal Life (Salvation) is available for all
who believe that Jesus the Christ, Lived, Died for the forgiveness of all our sins
(yesterday, today and tomorrow), and was Raised from the tomb on the third day!

Jesus the Christ is the Word of God incarnate (that God became fully human flesh),

through whom everything was made and through whose life,
death and resurrection God fashions us as a New Creation.

The proclamation of God's message to us is presented both as Law and Gospel
in the Bible, revealing judgment, mercy and grace through word and deed.
God is active from beginning of time in the creation, continuing in the history
of Israel, and centering in all its fullness in the person and work of Jesus the Christ.
